Active in Commercial Aviation for over 37 years, holder of dual licences both as Commercial Pilot and Maintenance Engineer. Licensed in 9 Different Countries on both Fixed and Rotary Wing Aircraft. Personally supervised the design and building of a heliport from its inception in South Africa. Set up a complete Overhaul and Maintenance Centre for Helicopters

Malcolm McLellan “Mac” to his friends has been involved in the aviation business for the past thirty-seven years. He has built up a wealth of knowledge and contacts, worldwide, having conducted such operations, inter alia –Tagging polar bears in the harsh surroundings of the North West Passage;Locating and extracting exotic timbers from the dense rain forests of Irian Jaya and Sumatra;
Oil exploration support in the Persian Gulf and Southern Argentina;
Game capture and darting through out Africa;
Working with the WHO in West Africa with the irradification of “river blindness”.

He has also completed some of the most amazing helicopter trips:
Rio Grand (Argentina), to London (England), via Greenland.

Mac is well versed in the ways of Africa and totally at home with the wildlife and diverse cultures.

He is offering his services not only as a highly qualified pilot and engineer, but as a guide to the real side of Africa from a helicopter perspective with all the access and versatility that a helicopter offers. He has now decided to make himself available to act as a personal pilot and guide to those who wish to experience something extremely different and very special.

Steve was born in the US and now shares his time between his residence in Marin County, California and his base of operation in Africa, Cape Town, South Africa.  
Steve has been successfully self-employed since he was twenty-three years of age.

He was in the automobile business from 1973 to 2003. From 1992 to 2003 in addition to being in the automobile business, Steve was also involved in the travel business. which he remains active in to this day.

Travel has always been his passion and hobby. Steve has traveled extensively over the years and covered every continent except Antarctica. There are many aspects of travel that are very rewarding, for Steve, his favorite part of traveling is meeting and connecting with people from various different cultures. To this day he enjoys his many friendships throughout the world that travel has brought to him.

His maiden journey to Africa was in 1988. When Steve returned home he had a different feeling than any other place he had traveled to. Steve wanted to experience that feeling again, so he made several trips back to Africa. Now he spends most of his time exploring remote areas of Africa. These areas often experience little or no westerners or foreign travelers.

Steve is also involved in professionally filming some of these remote areas. The purpose of the filming is to show the outside world other aspects of African daily life.
